The Global Education Coalition (GEC) was launched at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic to support learning continuity. GEC has prioritized Africa with operations in 39 African countries comprising 66 active projects and an additional 38 under discussion. The Africa Day Forum was an occasion to bring together a diverse group of stakeholders exploring opportunities for investment in technology, including open educational resources, and to ensure continuous and equitable learning in Africa.
