Experts Meeting on Climate Change Education for Sustainable Development in Latin America and the Caribbean, San José, 2015
A meeting on education for climate change and sustainable development was held in Costa Rica from 12 to 14 May 2015, involving more than 100 experts from 25 Latin American and Caribbean countries. Through discussion sessions and conversations among the participants, the meeting analysed the main challenges of climate change for the education systems of the Latin American and Caribbean region, as well as the role to be played by education in climate change adaptation and mitigation (see Annex I, Agenda).
